PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN PUBLIC SPEAKING DAN PRESENTASI EFEKTIF DALAM PERSIAPAN KULIAH DAN DUNIA KERJA

A Community Service (PKM) activity with the theme "Improving Public Speaking and Effective Presentation Skills in Preparation for College and the World of Work" was held at SMKN 2 Barabai to equip students with competent oral communication skills. The method applied in this activity is a competency-based participatory training consisting of four main stages, namely cognitive education, technical training, practical simulation, and evaluation. The results of this community service activity show a significant increase in the level of self-confidence and practical skills of SMKN 2 Barabai students. Training participants are now able to manage voice intonation, body language, and eye contact professionally, and are able to compile informative and persuasive presentation slides. The outputs of this program include improved results of student practical evaluations, as well as report documentation that is expected to be a reference for student character development. Through mastery of these skills, SMKN 2 Barabai graduates are expected to have high competitiveness and strong mental readiness in facing challenges in the world of work and the global academic environment
