Abstract

This community service program aims to increase the community's capacity to access, understand, and utilize the results of science, technology, and the arts through a downstream approach. This activity also encourages collaboration between universities, government, business actors, and the community as a joint strategy to accelerate national progress. The method used is a participatory approach through training, intensive mentoring, transfer of appropriate technology, and dissemination of applicable research results to target community groups. The service location is carried out in an area with local resource potential but still low in the application of science and technology. The results of the activity indicate an increase in community understanding of science and technology -based innovations and the ability to apply them in economic and social activities. The community has also begun to actively build networks with external parties as a form of program sustainability. The discussion shows that cross-sector collaboration is key to accelerating science and technology downstreaming and strengthening community capacity in a sustainable manner. The conclusion of this activity is that collaborative science and technology downstreaming can encourage community empowerment and strengthen local competitiveness, thereby contributing to inclusive and knowledge-based national development
