AGAMA, SAINS, DAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DALAM MEMBANGUN PERADABAN
Abstract
The development of science and information technology in the 21st century has brought significant changes to almost every aspect of human life, including the realm of religion. This study aims to examine the relationship between religion, science, and information technology in shaping people’s mindset, social practices, and digital ethics. The research method applied is library research with a descriptive qualitative analysis through a review of books, journals, and relevant academic online sources. The findings reveal that religion can function as a moral and ethical framework in utilizing information technology, while science provides the rational foundation for technological development. The interaction of these three dimensions not only shapes a productive and ethical digital culture but also opens opportunities for innovations that uphold humanitarian values. This article emphasizes that the integration of religion, science, and information technology is a crucial foundation for facing global challenges while ensuring that technological advancement remains aligned with ethics and spirituality.
