MANAJEMEN PENGELOLAAN SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA DALAM KETAHANAN PANGAN

Food security is a strategic issue related to the availability, accessibility, utilization, and stability of food in the long term. In this context, human resource management plays a crucial role in determining the success of food security programs. This article discusses how human resource (HR) management can enhance the effectiveness of food production, distribution, and consumption at various levels, from households to national policies. The discussion focuses on the role of planning, training, empowerment, and institutional synergy in optimizing the potential of the workforce in agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and food processing industries. The findings show that strengthening HR capacity significantly contributes to increased productivity, distribution efficiency, and nutritional fulfillment for communities. Thus, effective HR management not only supports the achievement of food security but also plays a vital role in improving public health, welfare, and national independence.
